What is Privacy Window Film?
Window film is a piece of polyester that is treated with components such as dyes, metals and nano ceramic particles applied to the interior of a window. It is designed to filter visible, ultraviolet and infrared light giving you control over the level of solar energy that enters your home. Daytime privacy film has a reflective quality to it so that when viewing the film from outside the home, the surrounding exterior is reflected back to the viewer, rather than the interior of the home.View the reflectivity performance specifications of all of our film.
Which Film is Best for Privacy?
Our ComforTech 05, 15 and 25 films all offer daytime privacy. The lower the ComforTech number, the darker the shade of our film, the more reflective it is, and the more privacy you will get.

What is Dual-Reflective Film and Why Does it Matter?
In terms of reflectivity, all of our film is dual-reflective, which means that the exterior of the film is more reflective and the interior is less reflective. Why does this matter? Less expensive films without dual reflective technology have the same reflectivity both inside and out. This means it doesn't just create a mirror outside of your home, but at night it creates a mirror inside your home. With dual reflective film, there is less reflectivity on the inside of the film which allows you to look out at night from the inside.
